Savuto - Controlled Designation of Origin D.O.C.
Type: Unoaked White Wine
Colour: Straw Yellow
Grapes: Mantonico, Greco Bianco and Pecorello
Aroma: Varietal with delicate hints of tropical fruit
Taste: Rich and lingering. On the palate, its sweet exotic intensity, combined with a pleasant freshness, make it aromatic and delicately saline
Serving temperature: Excellent at 12°C
Food pairing: Pleasantly persistent in the mouth with a good note of freshness. It pairs perfectly with pasta and shrimp, shellfish and spices
Winemaking: The grapes are harvested, strictly by hand, around the first ten days of September and, after careful manual selection, are gently pressed, followed by cold static decantation of the must and removal of coarse lees.
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with temperature control to impart freshness and a decisive character.
Ageing: After bottling, a further 2 months in the bottle.
Alcohol: from 12.5° to 13°
